Fightin'

"
Dubstep lands in Fort Greene, Brooklyn this Saturday, with the don, Mr. Joe Nice of Baltimore playing his New York debut. Expect *chock full o' dubplates in the bag from the likes of Digital Mystikz, Loefah, Skream, and all the top names pushing the sound in London.

Come support the sound or hear what it's all about. Dubstep has its roots in UK garage, but the fast-evolving sound has morphed deeper and deeper into dread territory recently. Combining elements of drum n bass, grime, dub, dancehall, and techno, dubstep has been making waves this year following the seminal "Grime" compilations on Aphex Twin's Rephlex label. Expect uncompromising sub-bass, spaced out dub echoes, and twisted dancehall riddims. "
