Skreams from the Radio

Possibly one of the most consistently good producers around at the moment and someone who's been receiving a huge amount of attention over the past few months, Skream's being heard on pretty much every radio station stored in my stereo's memory at the moment.
Having dropped Goat Stare and Request Line last week, Giles Peterson dropped Request Line for the second time on his weekly Radio 1 show and now there are whispers that it might chart...who knows. The boy wonder will also be appearing on The Breezeblock's forthcoming Dubstep Wars alongside Kode9 and Space Ape, Digital Mystikz, Loefah, Vex'd, Hatcha and Distance. Great to hear Radio 1 spreading the sound, John Peel would have been pleased I'm sure. Lock in to 97-99 fm next Tuesday between 1-3am or http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/dance/breezeblock Most importantly, don't forget to tune in to Rinse FM 100.3 which has been playing host to the man himself a lot recently- for archived shows check www.dubstep.blogspot.com

I can't remember the last time I was at a dubstep night and Mary Ann-Hobbes didn't get a shout out. So yeah, nice that some people at Radio 1 are continuing Peel's spirit.

Btw Ministry of Grime last night: packed out, brilliant rave, yet we still somehow had Kode9 to ourselves by 3.30am. Seriously. For about ten minutes there were only five of us in the dubstep room (including Kode!), and that was it. Bizarre.
