Strange to think that the man who gave us some of the most astoundingly beautiful and soulful expression of all time would have turned 60 this week (Feb 6). Bob Marley's birthday will be marked with a reminder of his timeless music through channels such as 1Xtra who have dedicated 3 shows to his memory. The Proud Galleries however, have chosen to celebrate Bob Marley's life via a collection of largely unseen images, including those composed by Reggae photographer Kate Simon who described him as "sent from heaven as a photographic subject."
